How to Jailbreak FireStick
This page will show you how to jailbreak FireStick and install popular streaming apps for free movies, TV shows, Live TV, Sports, and more. The 2024 jailbreak method also works on FireStick 4K, Fire TV, FireStick Lite, All-New FireStick 4K, All-New FireStick 4K Max, and Fire TV Cube.
Amazon Fire Stick is a trendy streaming device. This simple yet feature-rich device is a low-cost solution to convert any regular TV with HDMI compatibility into a smart TV
Fire Stick lets you stream content from various online media and entertainment services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and several TV Networks.
That’s all wonderful. But there is a significant drawback. You must pay a subscription fee to watch content through these entertainment services, and their subscriptions aren’t cheap, so they can burn a big hole in your pocket.
This is why we jailbreak Fire Stick. Jailbreaking allows you to get third-party streaming apps that give you free access to all your favorite movies, shows, live TV channels, sports, and more.
#1 Go to the home screen of your Amazon Fire TV Stick.
From there you will need to make your way to the Find bar, it will be to the right of Home.
#2 Select "Find" in the middle bar, followed by Search.
Search is right under the Find bar, in the search bar you can type if you click select on it.
#3 On the search window, type Downloader and click on it.
We will need this app to download the other apps we will need to watch LiveTV, Movies, & Shows.
#4 Click the Downloader icon on the next screen.
Once you click on it, choose Download (or Get) on the next window to actually download it.
#5 Choose Download (or Get) on the next window.
Wait for the Downloader app to download and then install itself. It does take a few minutes.
#6 Then click Open to launch the Downloader app.
We will only launch it to make sure the app is installed and working. But make sure to start the app.
#7 Setting Up Downloader.
You will get around three prompts, accept them,it will ask for some permissions ALLOW them all.

Once you have downloaded the "Downloader" app, this will be the harder part of the tutorial to follow so please make sure to read everything and follow along as best as you can. There are multiple ways this can go wrong and there are more than one way of doing it depending on the version of firestick you have, as well as the settings you have enabled or disabled but I will break it into parts for you to be able to follow along no matter the version you have.
Follow the steps closely and keep in mind if you see words like this: Example, it means there is multiple versions to that step and you need to make sure you are follow the steps you need, I will also have double screenshots in some areas to show the different versions.

IMPRTANT INFO: You are NOT changing system settings or manipulating operating system core files.
This jailbreak hack is more straightforward than most people think. You don’t even need a computer. All you need is your FireStick, its remote, and an internet connection. It honestly isn't actually a jailbreak its technically just turning on hidden settings and using 3rd party apps.
Note: The following is the images from the updated FireStick OS. If you have the older version, it will look a little different.
#1 Click the House logo on the firestick remote, wait for the home screen to load.
Then select the gear or cog icon in the middle bar (on the far right) to open Settings
#2 Now, choose the option "My FireTV".
It is usually towards the bottom left of the settings page, like in the photo here.
#3 On the following window, click "Developer options".
If you dont see the option "Developer Options" then you will need to enable it, CLICK HERE.
#4(version 1) Once in "Developer options" you will get one of two screens.
If you got this all screen all you do is click "Apps from Unknown Sources" and ALLOW it.
#4(version 2) Once in "Developer options" you will get one of two screens.
If you got this screen there is two steps needed first click on the "Install unknown apps".
#4pt2 (version 2) Select on Downloader. (Skip this if you had version 1)
All you need to do is click on Downloader and make sure it says ON, that's it.
#5 Head back to home screen, then go to "Find".
Once on Find you will now use the search part once again. You will need to open the app we installed.
#6 Search for "Downloader" and open it up.
You already have it downloaded so there will be no need to reinstall the downloader app again, just open it.
#7 Open the "Downloader" app.
Once on this screen you need to click "Open" to launch the app. We already installed it before.
#8 Now we get ready to search for the link.
Here we will need to accept all pop ups till you see the search, once on this screen we will type the link.
#9 Type the link provided.
The link is "www.fstvm.com/d" once you type it all out, press on the "Go" button to continue.
#10 Now we get ready to download a app.
Here you need to click the button for the app want. Once you choose, follow the next steps.
#11 Downloading the app.
Once you click a app you will come across this pop up, you want to click "Install here.
#12 Now we are good to go, just open the app.
You are done, open the app you installed and enjoy. Keep In mind some apps need log-ins/codes.
